Tim Huston is the lead singer, keyboard player, and co-songwriter for the band Jaded Poet.
Tim came into this world with a bang. He was born in Toledo, Ohioat the Toledo zoo. His mom was checking out the alligators when she went into labor. He popped out right there a few minutes later, I kid you not. She cleaned him off, wrapped him up, and started singing to him to ease the shock of coming into this world. The rest, as they say, is history. He started singing himself the very next day.

At seven, he started playing guitar. At 13, he joined his first band, Angel Horse. They only played in the garage for other kids in the neighborhood, but that didn't stop them from rockin' the crowd and rakin' it in. They made over $200, mostly in baseball cards and candy bars, but it was a good start. Some girls from the next block even managed to find their way "backstage," and Tim was hooked. Ah, to be young and in love again. This, by the way, is reported from musicians as the most common reason for going into the music biz. It's all just to get girls.
At 18, Tim was part of several bands that toured the states playing clubs everywhere. Eventually, he landed in a band called China White. They toured Europe and had the number 8 most requested song for 8 weeks in France and Italy. The wine did flow, Baby.

He then moved to Colorado and became the front man for Alistair X. They had quite a following until the bass player and drummer quit and literally joined the circus. They went on to train white tigers and supposedly had a show in Vegas for a while.
Every band Tim has been involved with has found success, and now he's found a home with Jaded Poet.
He plays the keyboards and has the vocal range to do everything from shattering the light bar on a cop car to singing a baby to sleep.
When he's not writing music or singing on stage, he likes to pass the time racing his jet black Porsche from Vegas to L.A. and back. He once made the round trip in 4 hours and 47 minutes, averaging 115 mph. This is his current personal best, and he has stated that he'll probably never beat it. But then again, no one else will either.
When you spend almost five solid hours manning the controls of a car at over 120 mph, stopping only for fuel, the intensity of throwing a rock concert out to a sold-out house is a piece of fucking cake.
On a personal level: the laughs come easy to Tim, he knows more jokes than anyone, would give you the shirt off his back, and does a dead-on impression of the late Sam Kinison.
Tim lists his musical influences thusly: White Snake, Mr. Big, Elvis, Aretha Franklin, Dean Martin, Barry Manilow, David Lee Roth, Sly and the Family Stone, Krokus, Abe Vigoda, William Shatner, Fastway, Quiet Riot, Dick Van Dyke, and the Olsen Twins.
And you can bet that if you meet him at a show, he'll have a smile and a handshake for ya.
